Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Jumbo Marshmallows May need more depending on number of guests
  • 1 Bag Melting Chocolates Choose your favorite flavor: White chocolate, rouge chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate.
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Cream Canned, very thick
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon Ground

Equipment

  • 4 BBQ Skewers Clean
  • 1 Small sauce pan
  • 1 Small metal whisk
  • 1 Metal Spoon Optional for chocolate drizzle
  • 1 Condiment dispenser Optional for chocolate drizzle
  • Paper napkins
  • 1 Searing bonfire

Method

  1. Turn on the stove burner to medium heat. Place small sauce pan on burner. Heat for 5 minutes, reduce to medium low heat.
  2. Prepare the chocolate in a small sauce pan. Add 1 1/2 cups of chocolate and gently stir. Slowly add the coconut cream, mixing with a small metal whisk.
  3. Stir until the cream and chocolate are completely melted. Turn off heat and set the pan aside to cool. The chocolate consistency should be thick.
  4. Add the cinnamon to the basic chocolate sauce mixture and stir well with the small whisk. Set aside with a metal spoon until ready to use.
  5. OR Place the newly melted cinnamon chocolate in a condiment dispenser and set aside.
  6. Oil a BBQ skewer lightly. Consider how many marshmallows you want on your skewer and oil up to that point.
  7. Place the desired number of marshmallows onto the lightly oiled BBQ skewer, carefully. Do this slowly to maintain the shape of the marshmallow.
  8. Over a seasoned bonfire, place the marshmallow skewer over the open flame. Turn occasionally to balance out roasting. Marshmallows roast quickly, so be sure to turn the skewer regularly while roasting. Singe the marshmallows on certain points of the skewer. When you are satisfied with the way the marshmallows are roasted, remove them from the bonfire and move into the chocolate phase.
  9. For spoon drizzle chocolate. Dip one spoon full of chocolate and lightly drizzle over the length of your roasted marshmallows. Allow the chocolate to set for a minute, then eat!
  10. For condiment container drizzle chocolate. Remove the tip cap from the condiment dispenser and lightly squeeze with a back and forth motion over the length of the roasted marshmallow skewer. Allow the chocolate to set for a minute, then eat!
  11. The roasted marshmallows and cinnamon chocolate produce a sweet and spicy chocolate finish. Also, maneuvering the chocolate drizzled hot marshmallows can be incredibly fun to watch and engage.
