Incredibly Simple Pizza Sauce

When you're short on time and want pizza, this is a fast and flavorful sauce for more than one pie.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 can Black olives Large or small olives, minced with mini food processor
  • 1 can Tomato paste Small
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil Extra virgin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp White wine Optional for additional flavor

Equipment

  • 1 Mini food processor
  • 1 Mini rubber scraper

Method
 

  1. Place black olives into the mini food processor and pulse until finely minced.
  2. Using the rubber scraper, add all the tomato paste from the can into the mini food processor.
  3. Add the olive oil and spices to the mixture.
  4. Mix the ingredients manually with the mini rubber scraper for 30 seconds.
  5. Pulse the mixture until fully mixed. Scrape the sides of the mini food processor between pulses. When the sauce mixture is one color, it is ready to place on the pizza base with the mini rubber scraper.
  6. OPTIONAL: Add white wine to the mixture and pulse until fully mixed into the sauce. Scrape the sides of the mini food processor between pulses. When the sauce mixture is one color, it is ready to place on the pizza base with the mini rubber scraper.

Notes

Tip text
Apply the sauce as thinly or as thickly as you would like.  If you apply a minimal amount of sauce, freeze all unused sauce for future use.  
The final consistency should be thick and creamy with a slight texture.
